We are doing our part to further protect our environment by introducing the new Eco Saver product range and efficient recycling scheme with Recyclecartridge.org. Through the efficient recycling scheme, empty cartridges are professionally tested, recycled and remanufactured to the original condition by our manufacturing partner. All our products come with biodegradable packages made of recyclable materials, whenever possible. More importantly, they are fully tested and compliant with the following international quality and environmental standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, QC 080000, REACH, RoHS).

The following lists down some astonishing facts about the pollutions by the cartridges:

• Approximately 1.1 billion printer cartridges are used each year worldwide. If we laid these out end to end, they would reach nearly 68 times around the equator.
• Over 45 million cartridges are dumped each year in the UK alone (2700 tonnes) - the same weight as 27 Blue Whales.
• Every cartridge can be reused or remanufactured between 3 to 7 times. Currently only around 15% of inkjet cartridges is recycled each year. Toners are predominately thrown away and mobile phones end up on our landfills.
• Each cartridge is made of engineering grade polymers thrown into landfill can take over 10 centuries (1000 years!) to decompose. To add to the myriad of facts, that's nearly nine times as long as the oldest man in the world has been alive and he's 114 years old.
• Approximately 90 ml of oil is used to produce each inkjet cartridge and 3.5 litres (6 pints) of oil are required to produce each new laser printer cartridge. In 12 months time, cartridge recycling could save more than 15 million litres of oil in the UK. In less than a year, recycling cartridges in Europe could save more oil than the 11,000,000 gallons spilled by the Exxon Valdez oil tanker into Prince William Sound in Alaska in 1989.
